The good news is that it is possible to gain muscle at home as well. The same principles that apply at the gym apply at home as well. In particular, it is most important that hardgainers recognize the limitations of their body to do intense workouts and the need for rest.

After each set, it’s also important to rest for a minute or so before doing another set.
